Let’s Make Apple and Pumpkin Tart
Tart (or Italian Crostata) is a pie or cake made from thin crispy dough.
It boasts a delicious filling that saturates the dough with sweet flavorful juice. You get a tender pleasant-tasting cake.
You will never get too much of the tart, somehow you go through it very quickly.
Ingredients for Apple and Pumpkin Tart
- Apples: 2
- Pumpkin: about 150 gr.
- Puff pastry or simple shortcrust dough 500 gr.
- Cane sugar: 3-4 tbsp
- Ground cinnamon 1 tsp
Recipe for Apple and Pumpkin Tart
- Cut pumpkin and apples into thin slices and sprinkle them with oil.
- Lay a piece of parchment on the bottom of a baking tray.
- Roll out the dough thinly and put it into the baking tray, cutting the edges off to make them level.
- Put out apple and pumpkin slices onto the dough sheet a little short of the edges. Drizzle sugar with cinnamon over.
- Bend in the edges and decorate them with cutoff dough strips.
- Bake at 355 degrees, 40-50 min, for golden color.
