The Recipe for a Slimming Salad
Celery, cabbages and cucumbers possess unique properties – they normalize metabolism and clean the body of toxins, slag and extra fat; they rejuvenate our bodies. Besides, celery possesses an uncommonly pleasant smell; it gives this salad a special charm and heightens the slimming effect. There is tartronic acid in cabbages and cucumbers which helps to slow down the process of the transformation of carbohydrates into fat. But it retains its properties only if not subjected to thermal conditioning. So it is obvious that our best bet is to prepare salads.
Ingredients for Slimming Salad
- 0.7 lb/ 300 g cabbages
- 1-2 cucumbers
- 2 stalks celery
- 1 onion
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- juice from half a lemon
- salt to taste.
Cooking Instructions
- Chop the cabbages finely, salt a little and mash to release juice.
- Dice cucumbers and celery as you wish.
- Cut onion into half-rings.
- Put everything into a bowl, dress with lemon juice and good olive oil
