Chocolate Cake with Raspberry
This cake seems to be the most chocolate of all that we have tried. It is moderately sweet and slightly wet, perfectly matches with raspberry flavor.
It is a heavenly pleasure with a cup of tea or coffee. And if you put a ball of vanilla ice cream on top, it will be a real delight.
Ingrdients for Сhocolate Сake with Raspberry
- Flour 1 cup.
- Chocolate: 200 gr.
- Cocoa: 2 tablespoons
- Sugar: 2-3 tbsp
- Ground almonds: 3-4 tbsp
- Mashed raspberries 2 tablespoons
- Eggs: 3
- Baking powder 2 tsp
- Sherry or any dry wine 2 tablespoons
- Butter: 100 g.
- Milk: 2 tbsp
- For soaking ready cake: raspberry liquor or any other liquor: 3-4 tbsp
Frosting to cover:
- Cream: 100 ml. + chocolate: 60 gr. – Melt together.
Recipe for Сhocolate Сake with Raspberry
- Melt chocolate with milk, butter and cocoa.
- Whisk eggs with sugar.
- Combine all the ingredients, knead soft dough.
- Butter the form. Spread the dough evenly.
- Bake the cake in a preheated oven.
- Pour liquor over the hot cake right in the mold.
- When the cake cools down, glaze it.
- Serve with fresh raspberries.
