After a series of experiments American scientists arrived at the conclusion that people who eat any kind of milk products at least once a day possess better mental abilities compared to those whose diet includes little of those products.
The research involved about 1,000 people who were to pass tests. The highest grades in cognitive tests for memory, planning and organizing ability, quick thinking had those who ate milk products regularly.
The participants reported that they eat milk products daily; half of them drink not less than two glasses of milk. Of the whole list of milk products yoghurt and cheese are the most popular ones.
Apart from the impact of milk products on cognitive functions, they are wholesome for the body due to whey proteins, calcium, magnesium, vitamin D. These compounds play a positive part in controlling weight, blood pressure, and diminish the diabetes risk.
