Baked apples is one of the oldest sweet dishes, dating back to the time when people started baking things on open fire. You can always make an easy, tasty and light dessert from apples. Today we stuffed them with dried prunes. We had sweet apples, so we added no sugar for baking, but sprinkled a little sugar powder when they were ready. If your apples are not very sweet, add sugar or honey to taste.
