Tea and Coffee Are Wholesome for the Liver
Millions of people begin their every morning with a cup of tea or coffee. Besides bringing pleasure, these beverages that contain caffeine help the liver to avoid accumulating fat.
According to a research conducted by scientists at the Duke University School of Medicine, North Carolina, intake of caffeine in reasonable doses can reduce the risk of the fatty degeneration of the liver.
Non-alcoholic fatty degeneration of the liver can’t be cured except by diet and workouts.
The research revealed that the intake of caffeine equivalent to 3 or 4 cups of coffee or tea per day can prevent the developing of fatty degeneration of the liver. Caffeine reduces the content of fat in the liver, stimulates β-acidification in liver cells through autophagy of the lysosomal tracts.
