How to Cook Simmered Beans with Onions and Ham
People have been eating beans from times immemorial. They are very wholesome, being a good source of easily digestible proteins and fiber. It’s better to salt the beans at the end of cooking when they are already soft because salt makes their skin harder. We used frozen green beans for this recipe, they cook very quickly.
