Tomatoes against Obesity
Tomatoes are one of the commonest world vegetables. Scientists from the University of Kyoto, Japan, found that potatoes contain nutrients that can discontinue the development of cardiovascular diseases, malfunction of lipid exchange and obesity.
It has long been known that tomatoes contain many salubrious substances. The Japanese scientists investigated the 9-oxo-octadecadienoic acid. It is a compound that prevents illnesses related to obesity, atherosclerosis and cirrhosis of the liver.
According to Dr. Teruo Kawada, daily intake of tomatoes, tomato juice or mashed tomatoes can be very efficacious in those cases.
