Crostini are dried-up pieces of bread or baguette. They are often used as a base for a great deal of tasty appetizers that are called antipasto in Italy. They are served before the main dish.
Ingredients for Crostini with Anchovy
- 0.08 lb salted anchovy
- 0.16 lb butter
- cherry tomatoes, basil, garlic, a baguette
Recipe for Crostini with Anchovy
- Cut the baguette across into pieces, dry them up on a frying-pan or in a toaster. Rub warm pieces with a garlic clove.
- Mash the anchovy and butter with a fork into a paste. Spread it over the dried bread.
- Place the pieces of brad onto a plate, decorate with cherry tomatoes and basil.
