Cabbage Salad Recipe
This wonderful and easy vegetable salad is made using a couple of handy veggies. The taste is well balanced and the salad is very juicy. As you know, nothing could be healthier than fresh veggies. They detox our body and provide all essential vitamins and minerals. This salad can be a fabulous side dish to meat or fish, or you can eat it as the main dish if you are dieting or fasting.
Ingredients for Cabbage Salad
- 300 g head cabbage
- 2 medium carrots
- 2-3 tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- Sea salt
- 3-4 tablespoons Extra Virgin olive oil
Cooking Instructions
- Chop cabbage thinly.
- Coarsely grate carrot
- Cut tomatoes as you like.
- Salt carrot and cabbage and press with hands to release juice.
- Add tomatoes and combine.
- Rub oregano between your fingers and sprinkle over.
- Dress the salad with lemon juice and olive oil.
- Serve immediately.
