Bottled Tea Is Not Wholesome
Consumers are well aware of the wholesome properties of tea. But there is a great divide between the understanding that tea is good for health and the factual amount of the salubrious nutrients – polyphenols – in factory-produced bottled tea. This information was presented at a national meeting of the American Chemical Society.
Researchers tested bottled tea-based drinks and found that they contain a very low amount of polyphenols. One will have to drink 20 bottles of tea to acquire the same salubrious result that one gets from drinking just one cup of properly made natural tea. Bottled tea also contains sugar and other undesirable substances, so it will bring more harm than benefit.
