Pomegranate Juice to Halt Cancer Growth
Researchers from the University of California discovered that components found in pomegranate juice inhibit the spread of cancer cells and forming metastases in the bones in prostate cancer cases. The results of the study can form the basis of new methods of cancer inhibition treatment.
Conducted at the laboratory of Manuela Martins-Green, Professor Dept. of cell biology, the study was delivered at the 50th annual meeting of the American Society for Cell Biology in Philadelphia.
