Bruster’s Ice Cream has put the most expensive ever, but absolutely uneatable ice-cream up for sale. It is reported that would-be owner of $1 million diamond “cone” will get a true work of art and will help poor children. This “ice-cream” was created by jewelers at Lazare Kaplan International Inc. They incrusted it with 22 ounces of white and yellow gold, 548 round diamonds, 87 square emerald cut diamonds and a large 5.63 carat “Fancy Intense Yellow” diamond (with the 152.16 carat total weight of the article).
Bruster’s Ice Cream says that the cone symbolizes the outstanding quality of the company’s ice-cream that is available at 260 stores in 18 states, and represents their attention to social issues. The proceeds from the sale of this diamond ice-cream will be donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
