Going without Breakfast Is Bad for the Heart

Going without Breakfast Is Bad for the Heart

Scientists advise not to miss out on breakfast, men especially. Eat your breakfast every morning before going out to work.

A recent study conducted by the Harvard School of Public Health confirmed the importance of the time and amount of your meals.

The researchers observed the health of male volunteers over 45 years of age during 16 years. Those who skipped breakfast had a higher risk of a heart attack or a fatal coronary disease.

Missing out on breakfast can result in one or more risk factors including gaining weight, high blood pressure, high cholesterol level and diabetes, topped by a heart attack risk.

An example of a healthy breakfast is a bowl of oatmeal with yoghurt, nuts and fruit added. This kind of breakfast is easy to make, takes very little time, yet it is very wholesome.
